Success Story: SDW Project among 12 success projects of the world

Nepal Engineering College (nec) is implementing a research project, entitled "Development of Appropriate Safe Drinking Water Supply & Sanitation System for Slum Dwellers and Squatters in Nepal" under Development Partnership in Higher Education program of DFID and British Council. Ms. Sabitri Tripathi, Associate Professor, Nepal Engineering College, conceptualized, initiated and is leading the project, and she is the Project Coordinator.

It is a three years research project starting from September 2007 to August 2010. In the undertaking of the project Nepal Engineering College is the lead institution and Imperial College London and Preston University Pakistan are the two partner institutions.
