Leadership Training: Sonbarshi

Leadership Training to the community people of Sonbarshi village was organized at Shree Raghbendra Primary School, Bhadeher, Gauri VDC, Kapilvastu. The training was held on June 16 and 17, 2008. Ms. Yug Maya Rai had visited to the site as a training coordinator.  It was provided by Mr. Shivlal Yadav and Mr. Rajesh Shakya of Sunshine Social Development Organization,Kapilvastu.

The objective of training was :

• Leadership development
• Bargaining power development
• Find out their problems/solutions by themselves
• Women empowerment

There was very good participation from the community. Altogether 22 people were trained out of which 12 were female and 10 were male. Females were from Women Motivators Group.
